Inaugurated on 21st March 2017, Lion safari is established in area of 20.15 hac. With on open enclosure, which possesses Paddock area, day Kraal, night shelters and keepers room. In this safari we have four Lions namely Prince, Kriti, Vasu and Vasudha. The Lioness kriti gave birth to four cubs on 6th Oct 2017. The beautiful safari ride lets visitors to enjoy lion in their habitat in a round of 2.2 km.

International Yoda day is celebrated annually on 21st June since its inception in 2015. In the presence of our PCCF (Territorial) and PCCF (Wildlife) we celebrated International Yoga day at Nandanvan Jungle safari to promote health awareness.

Online ticketing of Nandanvan Jungle safari was Inaugurated on 16th Oct 2017 for the purpose of ticket purchases.

1st November of every year is celebrated as Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav (Foundation day) as on this date in the year 2000 Government of India officially declared it to be an Independent state. Since then, the state Government organizes festival at Rajyotsav Ground, Naya Raipur. Nandanvan Jungle safari, participated in the Exhibition of development works to extend the platform to reach out to the people of Chhattisgarh.

To Promote the importance of Biodiversity day 22nd may 2018, Nandanvan Jungle Safari, organized drawing & essay competitions on the Jungle Safari Premises at waiting hall. Visitors to the Zoo, including..... children look part in the competitions and later prizes were distributed to the winners.

Every year, July 29th is celebrated as the Global Tiger day to raise awareness about the endangered big cats. Nandanvan Jungle safari, celebrated International Tiger day with the good news about the rise in the number of tigers in the wild along with Naya Raipur Development Authority. To mark the special day and to help spread the word about Conservation of the species, Nandanvan Jungle safari and NRDA, conducted fun events which includes Arts with tiger face Painting for kids.
Kids love to Paint! which lures them towards the way of the face Paintings.

Wildlife week is clelebrate in the month of october from 2^nd to 8^th every year with the view of create awareness among people and to preserve fauna. We Nandanvan Jungle Safari celebrate wildlife week of conducted various activities like essay competition, drawing competition and many more.
