Jungle Safari Raipur (C.G.)

Crocodile Exhibit will display Marsh Crocodile (Crocodylus palustris) in their natural habitat in a total area of 9,500 sq.m., with 350 sq.m. of holding-pan area to feed them. A small & a large sand bed is also developed for Basking for these elongated, robust powerful jaw bearer crocodiles. The complete area is fenced with 2m high chain link fence. In India three different species of crocodiles are found : marsh crocodile, selt-water crocodile and gharial.

The enclosure provides intriguing view of our pride the Royal Bengal tiger. It is developed in total area of 2430 SQM that includes paddock area of about 1945 SQM and dry moat. (CZA Approval - 19-160/93-CZA(147)(Vol.III) (PKR)/1844/2017, dated 27/10/2017 ).
It contains of a low height hillock with natural boulders/earth, small waterfall along with a water body at the center of depth 2.5'. A wooden log platform/machan is facilitated for animal enrichment.

The lion enclosure is constructed in a huge area of 2550 SQM with dry moat and 2511 SQM paddock area (CZA Approval - 19-160/93-CZA(147)(Vol.III) (PKR)/1844/2017, dated 27/10/2017 ).
The enclosure is beautifully designed with a natural stone in form of a cave. Salient features of the enclosure include the presence of a dead tree log, a water body, a low height hillock and a wooden platform meant for animal enchantment. The entire enclosure is safeguarded with a chainlink mesh fence.

Since the inception, Nandanvan Jungle Safari has already attracted a lot of attention. The exhibit encompasses an area of 2070 SQM. It is designed with the Toughened glass and paddock area covering 1670 SQM (CZA Approval - 19-160/93-CZA(147)(Vol.III)(PKR)/1844/2017, dated 27/10/2017 ).
It contains of a low height hillock with natural boulders/earth, small waterfall along with a water body at the center of depth 2.5'. A wooden log platform/machan is facilitated for animal enrichment. 30

This enclosure tries to offer tigers a varied and naturalistic habitat. This enclosure contains a paddock area of 1999 SQM and dry moat in the total area of 2590 SQM. (CZA Approval - 19-160/93-CZA(147)(Vol.III) (PKR)/1844/2017, dated 27/10/2017 ).
It contains of a low height hillock with natural boulders/earth, small waterfall along with a water body at the center of depth 2.5'. A wooden log platform/machan is facilitated for animal enrichment.

Nandavan Jungle Safari has a dedicated area of 70 SQM for tortoise enclosure. (CZA Approval - 19-160/93-CZA(147)(Vol.III)(PKR)/1844/2017, dated 13/2/2017 ).
It contains of a paddock area of 57.4 SQ M - a water body, a sandy area and a holding pan. There is a standoff barrier, hedge located close to the viewing area where the audience can view the tortoise from.
