Jungle Safari Raipur (C.G.)

Nandanvan Jungle safari, Naya Raipur has a dedicated green parking area measuring roughly an extent of 1.25 hectares, facilitating visitors vehicle parking who visit to see the safari at a nominal parking fee. It is adjacent to main entrance at walking distance with the capacity of 5 lanes of car parking, 2 lanes of Bus Parking and 2 lanes of Bike parking which can afford to park 1000 Bikes, 400 cars and 25 Buses at a time. There are about 1500 number of trees planted which includes Kadam, Badam, Gulmohar, Raintree, Neem, Peltafam, Jharul and spathodea species which provides enough shelter.

Nandanvan Jungle safari, Naya Raipur has provided Battery Operated Vehilce facility to facilitate the elderly and physically challenged visitors in particulars and tourists in general on free of cost from the main entrance gate to the waiting hall where visitors has to fetch buses for safari ride. There are 12 battery operated vehicle available with us of 6 seaters & 8 seaters.

Nandanvan Jungle safari, Naya Raipur has 26 secured safari vehicles, which are allowed inside the safari for the visitors. Out of 26 buses, we have 12 air-conditioned buses and 14 Non-AC buses with large windows to ensure the visitors to capture the rare movements of the animals. We also offer expert guide who will provide an exciting commentary about our wide variety of animals, which gives an excellent chance for the visitors to both learn and enjoy.

Nandanvan Jungle safari, Naya Raipur have myriad responsibilities on visitors plate; There are numerous health and safety efforts to handle and safe drinking water is high on that list. We have provided drinking water facility at 3 locations is the Waiting hall, Ticket counter and Toilet area zone.

Nandanvan Jungle safari, Naya Raipur has around the 18 hac areas of land under Gardens/ lawns. It is known for its exotic planting with small lotus pond surrounded by lush green flora. We have planted 15000 of Herbs, Shrubs & trees of different species includes Tecoma, Acalypha, Rose, Hibiscus, Duranda, Alamanda, Bougainvillea, Moulshree, Badam, Kadam, Spathodea, coconut etc. On 1st Nov. 2016, during inauguration of Jungle safari, our Hon' Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi planted Moulshree tree near the entrance inside the Monument Zone.
We have 9 pergolas which provides shelter and a place to rest, creates ornamental feature in a landscape. Its picturesque beauty boosts natural green landscapes, which makes the visitors feel fresh and near the nature and to encourage them to spend their leisure time in peace and tranquility.

The safari has provided one toilet complex at the monument zone and the other adjacent to the waiting hall for the convenience of the visitors; which are aimed at ensuring clean and safe sanitation for the visitors.

Nandanvan Jungle safari, Naya Raipur has launched Boating on an additional recreational facility to the visiting tourists in the blue water of Khandwa dam with a nominal fee. Presently there are one Cruise boat of 40 seaters and one Mini boat of 20 seaters, all put into service for the benefits of tourists. Boating enjoyment begins with safety, we ensure the safety of the visitors by providing life saving jackets and also a rescue boat with four swimmers are always available if any mishappens occur.
